We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) App. The app is designed for frontline colleagues to download for use on mobile devices, to undertake clinical frailty scoring with patients in real time.
The CFS app works by responding with a simple Yes or No to a series of nine questions, starting at the most severely frail end of the scale. The response to the question identifies the level of frailty and provides a recommendation about how to approach that patient’s care and treatment with extra information to read as needed.
The app is free to download from the Apple App Store here, with the Android version available here.
To support the app, we've also created a CFS Quick Reference Guide, the second page of which has been designed as a poster to be printed and displayed for easy use. The CFS Quick Reference Guide can be downloaded here.
